NBC Montana is looking for a Producer/Control Room Director for its Missoula news operation. This position will be assigned to the M-F AM News program. Successful hire is responsible for coordinating the activities of studio and control room personnel to ensure the technical quality of video, audio and transition for live newscast and other content originating in studio or from remote locations. Successful applicant will have at least two years’ experience working in a broadcast news control room. Knowledge of and work experience in studio camera, graphics, audio board, switching between content sources, editing news material and providing support to news producer. Applicant will schedule news control room personnel and monitor performance and report any issues to supervisor. Applicant will also track and report any control room or studio equipment or system problems to news management and engineering. NBC Montana recently completed conversion to state of the art HD studio, field, control room, graphics, weather and news management equipment and systems. NBC Montana is owned by Bonten Media Group.
